I'M KARI
Hey there!
I’m Kari, an artist, designer and teacher. I spent over 22 years growing and managing my own traditional product-based online e-commerce business until I closed that business in 2021 to follow my life-long dreams of being an artist.
My goal was to begin building a new business that would enable me to keep creativity front and center and allow me to grow as an artist and grow my art brand.
What I've learned and am excited to share with you is that, although it does require work and commitment, Print-on-Demand really is the easiest way to get your art out into the world and into the hands of customers and collectors who are excited to connect with you and your art!

CLASS OVERVIEW
What you can expect to learn...
- First we will chat a little bit about choosing your Word of the Year, how it can help guide you and I’ll also share a framework that really helped me in choosing my Word when I was stuck.
- Then we will log into Printify, select a mug from the catalog and begin the design process. To keep things as simple as possible this project can be completed entirely within Printify without needing any outside design software. Of course if you’re already an experienced designer, you can certainly use your own design elements as well.
- After our mugs are designed, we will learn how to print and order our mugs directly from our Printify dashboard.
- And before we wrap up, I’ll share some additional design inspiration for those who want to go further as well as take a look beyond the mugs to some other fun products that we can use with our Words of the Year.
By the end of this class… you’ll know not only how to navigate the Printify dashboard but also how to design your custom mug and get it printed and on its way to you.
